This Chinese Bracket Table "de-composed" the solid elements of the bracket sets to 2 dimensional planes - they are made with pre-formed clear acrylic panels which can be assembled and disassembled easily. These acrylic panels interlock one another to form the main structure which carries the essence of the structural composition of traditional wood bracket sets. With the volume and weight being reduced, free flowing curves became possible. The result created a poetic interpretation for the "soul" of the traditional bracket sets. This design calls for an aesthetic that make use of the inherited wisdom from the "old".
