Design inspiration came from traditional Chinese architectural element - wood bracket sets. These brackets were used to hold the roof structure throughout Chinese architectural history; they are the key elements in creating beautiful curve lines in the roofs and were always decorated with well elaborated surface paintings. This design takes up two bracket sets jointed together to support the table top, a glass panel in the center to reveal brackets structure below! Color combinations took original bracket elements from Forbidden City's palaces.
